All You Need is Klaus
A behind-the-scenes look at the rock and roll world of Klaus Voormann, a 1960s Renaissance man, who lived on the road,
in the studios and even in the homes of some of history's greatest musicians. Featuring Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr,
Carly Simon, Van Dyke Parks, and Twiggy, Voormann's incredible tale continues on his recently-released and first-ever
solo album "A Sideman's Journey" with tracks from Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, Jim Keltner, Albert Lee and more.

DVD 2 -

This new transfer has been made from an original, undamaged vhs recording of the BBC2 repeat from Christmas 1982. Unusually, the Beeb screened the widescreen 35mm theatrical print with black bars at the top and bottom. When released on vhs and laserdisc some years later,
this widescreen version was cropped severely at the sides to produce a full-frame image. Here it is presented unaltered.

Although the film was shot at 24 frames per second, BBC2 aired it in PAL format at 25 fps. For this disc it has been slowed down to 23.976 fps and presented in a compatible NTSC format, thus preserving the correct speed and pitch of the original. The actual picture area has been scaled
up to 480 pixels and encoded in anamorphic format so as not to lose any resolution.

Comparison: left to right is laserdisc/widescreen/fullscreen (this version)

In addition to the original mono film soundtrack, this disc also features a hifi soundtrack assembled from the original mono Nagra tapes and the variously available stereo mixes. These have been synched to the picture to produce an entirely new listening experience. Dialogue that was previously inaudible is now crystal clear, and the music shines forth like never before. Allied with the new high quality pictures and comprehensive menus, this makes for the definitive Let It Be dvd.

A & M REHEARSALS 10/73
THE JESSE ED DAVIS REHEARSAL TAPES

THIS CD features what will now be known as "The Jesse Ed Davis Tapes" First off, we get the first ever tape to CD transfer of the earliest
known rehearsals done at A&M Studios in October of 1973, with a very drunken John.
Then we have the first ever Tape to CD Transfer of the Famous October 1974 rehearsals. These rehearsals have long been thought to have been
recorded at The Record Plant, but were actually taped at Morris Levy's Barn in upstate New York with John and the same set of musicians that
played on Wall and Bridges. These Rehearsals are taken from the Original cassettes and are many generations above any previous issue!

"DJ WINSTON O' BOOGIE" PLAYS THE ROOTS OF ROCK 'N' ROLL!

Disc Three incorporates a new way to listen to the Roots album. The songs are intertwined by an early (Stereo!) 1975 interview with John talking
and introducing each of the Rock 'N' Roll tracks, only we swapped these for the more obscure Roots Versions. The Roots tracks have now been taken
from a Rare and Restored 8 track tape. With the Listener in mind, we have made it possible to program your CD player to play only the Roots tracks
or just the John Interview.

NOTE: ALL SONGS ARE THE ORIGINAL ROOTS VERSIONS!
NOTE: ALL ROOTS SONGS OR INTERVIEW CAN BE PROGRAMMED TO PLAY SEPARATELY

This is just the most beautiful film you can think of that shows real love. You'll start to cry several times during it, because it's so strong.
It is not many facts about John Lennon or so, it's not that kind of film, but it includes all of his and Yoko's hits and so many wonderful pictures of them; films that John has taped himself and that others have taped on him.
You really get many feelings of this DVD, and I'm not a person who normally gets very emotional! Anyhow, it's really great to watch it and even though there isn't anyone telling a story in the background, you still feel like you get to know so much about John and Yoko.
